At the gateway to Florence, amid the gentle rolling hills of the Chianti landscape, lies the great estate of Le Rose. Within it, surrounded by gardens and olive groves, is a fascinating Renaissance mansion, Villa Le Rose. The villa complex, which stands at the end of a great driveway of ancient cypresses, is built around a courtyard. The “Baldacchino Suite”, also on this level, is distinctive for the richness of this furnishings and decorations, with a great canopied bed and an entirely frescoed bathroom with fireplace. On the upper floor are five suites, each of them embellished with original furnishings, decorated ceilings and large windows opening onto a striking unforgettable landscape.
